After breakfast, you start your tour with a local guide by the ramparts of Marrakech in which there are many interesting historical sites in the medina. Koutoubia mosque 12th century that represents the glory and depth history of the city. You will discover the nomadic heritage by visiting Tiskiwin Museum, the beautiful Bahia palace 19th century and the famous souks of Marrakech. You will be amazed of how many different stalls, colors, smells and goods in the souks. It is a great place for shopping some gifts for yourselves and for your beloved ones. After lunch we take you to the lovely garden that you will admire, the famous Majorelle gardens and the Berber Museum. It is nice to have a cup of mint-tea in one of the terraces in order to end up your journey in the red city, offering a great view over the magical square Jamae Elfana that you always will remember. Today you drive east to Beni Mellal (3 hours), continue along the northern slopes of the Middle Atlas Mountains. you stop to enjoy a home hosted meal at Mrirt. You interact with the family and learn for them. After lunch you continue driving to Ifrane, a city located in the Middel Atlas Mountains. you stop to have a café or walking around. After breakfast, you will have a guided visit at 9:00 Am in the medina of Fez. To begin with the southern tower and the fortress of 16th century face to face with northern one, a panoramic view over the medieval city. We will visit an enjoyable cooperative of pottery. It will enhance your knowledge about the making of Moroccan mosaic “zellige” and the blue pottery of Fez. You will travel in time back to the medieval period of the city where people still work in small narrow streets, several tiny stalls of all kinds of traditional crafts, and donkeys loaded with supplies are going up and down in the streets of the medina. You will feel no sense of direction and time halts for a while. The medina of Fez is rich of its Islamic monuments: the fascinating old mosques, the University of El-Karaouiyine and its libraries. All These elements made Fez the intellectual and cultural capital of the country. To finish the day there is an optional to see Jewish quarter including the Aben Danan Synagogue. Meals: B, D
After breakfast, you leave to ancient site of Volubilis - the capital of the Roman province of Mauritania Tingitana. The detailed mosaics here are still intact and the site gives a good idea of the layout of provincial settlements. Then, continue to the city of Meknes, once the heart of the Moroccan Sultanate. Built by the tyrant, Moulay Ismail, the city was once filled with palace and grand gateways and although much of Ismail's capital has crumbled to dust, it still exudes a sense of its former regal grandeur. In the company of a guide we will visit the old granary of Heri es-Souni and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail himself. After that you proceed to Rabat and visit the capital city of Morocco: the exterior of the royal palace, the kasbah of the Oudaya, the Hassan tower and the mausoleum of Mohamed V. Meals: B, L.D
After breakfast, you leave for Casablanca. You take a short panoramic tour of the city including: Arab League Square, Mohamed V Square. Then we get close to see the famous and pharaonic work of the Mosque of Hassan II (Optional you can visit the interior). In the afternoon you continue to Marrakech. Meals: D
After breakfast in the Riad, you will drive to the village of Asni and the village of Imlil in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains. Here you will enjoy the panoramic views through the Moulay Brahim Gorges and the village of Imlil, a small Berber village with a strong culture. You will have the opportunity to walk in the villages and the real experience of the Berber culture. If you chose to have lunch at the Kasbah Toubkal, you will have a great view of the Toubkal mountains, the highest in North Africa is quite impressive. In the afternoon, you will travel to Marrakech.
